Before adding CBD oil to your daily routine, as with any supplement, be sure to check with your doctor to make sure that it's a good choice for you. This is especially true if you are taking certain anti-seizure medications. CBD oil can be consumed in a multitude of ways: tinctures, oil vaping, capsules, sublinguals, topicals and foods. When taking CBD, always follow the instructions on the package of the product you have purchased.

What is the difference between CBD Isolate and Full Spectrum CBD?

"Full spectrum" or "whole plant" CBD oil will contain trace amounts of THC as well as other cannabinoids. This contributes to the much-touted "entourage effect," which allows users to reap the benefits of not only the hundreds of cannabinoids but also the flavonoids and terpenes present in the plant. Isolate CBD oils are made by isolating only the CBD present in the plant; THC and other cannabinoids will not be present in these oils.

What are Lab Reports and Why do I need to see them?

Lab Reports separate the good from the bad. They show you that what a company says they are selling you, they actually are! They let you see exactly what is in your CBD product before you take it. Be sure to vet companies before you purchase any product from them. An honest, transparent company should have Lab Reports, or Certificate of Analysis as they’re known (COA), freely available. The lab report should be from a reputable company, preferably UK based, and clearly show the companies name and matching batch numbers to your product. Here at BotanicOil we take this very seriously and all of our third party lab reports and freely available. You also receive a copy of the lab report for each purchase.
